Assistance in Managing Past Due Accounts
When your water bill is past due, Golden State Water offers the following assistance to manage your account and help avoid disconnection of water service for non-payment:
Reminder to Pay Notices and Alerts: Golden State Water sends notices and alerts by mail, email, text, and out-dial calls to make customers aware when an account balance is past due and or service is scheduled for disconnection. These timely notices inform customers of appropriate actions they can immediately take to avoid disruption of their water service. Customers need to add their correct mailing address and contact information to their water account profile to receive these notifications. It’s easy to sign up to access the alerts and notification webpage and update your profile contact information. Learn More.
Payment Arrangements: Golden State Water reminds customers with past due balances that they can request to delay the payment for a few weeks or request to set up a plan to make scheduled payments on larger balances over several months. The payment plan includes a scheduled payment amount plus timely payment of current balances incurred beyond the delinquent balance.
