GRC 2020 General Case (2022-24)
The General Rate Case approved July 29, 2023 invests over $22 million in the Culver City Customer Service Area. The new rates are being invested in your service area’s major water tank upgrades, new pressure relief valves, new main installation, and backup power equipment.
GRC 2023 General Case (2025-27)
The rates proposed for 2025-2027 will provide customers with long-term value by investing over $17.8 million in proactive capital investments and maintenance of local water infrastructure essential to the delivery and treatment of reliable, quality drinking water. Investments in the Culver City Service Area include but are not limited to constructing a new emergency interconnection to improve water supply reliability; upgrading water distribution infrastructure; installing emergency backup generators needed for uninterrupted treatment and delivery of water in the event of a power outage or a natural disaster; replacing aging water mains, meters, and pumps.

Bentley Area Main Replacement (AMR) Water Main Replacement Project
Location: Bentley Avenue south of Venice to Washington Place and Pigott Avenue from east of Sepulveda to Bentley Avenue in Culver City.
Project Timeline: September 25, 2023 – January 2024
Construction crews will work to:

Install approximately 2,300 LF of 8 & 12” PVC water mains, fire hydrants, fire services, and domestic services in Bentley and Pigott Avenues.
This project will improve the distribution system and ensure Golden State Water can continue providing reliable water service to local customers.

Wrightcrest Area (Blair Hills) Water Main Replacement Project
Location: Wrightcrest Dr, Crestview Rd, Ver Halen Ct, Howard View Ct, Leeview Ct, Lenawee Ave, Vicstone Ct, Blairstone Dr, Stoneview Dr, Ivy Way, Perham Dr, La Cienega Blvd.
Project Timeline: October 2, 2023 – April 2024

Sepulveda Area Main Replacement

Northgate Area Main Replacement

Washington Boulevard Area Main Replacement

Project update: As of March 5, 2020, GSWC has installed the new water main and is continuing to run the connections at each intersection off of Washington Boulevard.
